This conversion lets you add terabytes (TB) of internal storage space and enhance your PC’s read/write speeds. The adapter is compatible with PCI Express (PCIe) 3.0 motherboards. It is also backward compatible with earlier 2.0 and 1.0 versions.

Add an Optional Adapter for Expanded Functionality
The P970-U2M2 adapter card is compatible with PCE-U2-PX4 U.2 to PCIe adapter (sold separately) to convert the PCIe port into an M.2 SSD module.
