The fi-4860C2 from Fujitsu provides users with a multifunctional, high quality image processing mid-volume scanner aimed at applications with scanning requirements of between 6,000-10,000 documents per day.

The C2 model now adds hardware assisted VRS 4.1 Professional functionality, to maximize image quality and improve operator handling.

The scanner can scan in colour and mono at speeds of 60 pages per minute at 200 dpi (via an ultra wide SCSI CGA board) through the automatic document feeder, and also has manual feed capability.

It can scan from A7 up to A3 and is equipped with a 500-sheet hopper.

The fi-4860C2 scanner uses high resolution CCD technology allowing the user to select resolutions up to 400dpi which is ideal for OCR applications that require high quality images for optimum recognition rates
